The first daily create assignment I created was “A Self Portrait Of Yourself In The Year 2050”. For this assignment you are required to draw a self-portrait of what you think your going to look like in the year 2050. Will you have gray hair yet? Or will you still look like a young kid? After you complete your drawing you are to upload your drawing to your flickr account.
The second daily create assignment I create was “My Future Family”. For this assignment you are to draw a picture of what you think your future family is going to look like. Will you have ten kids? Will you have five cats? Will you still be single? Draw a picture of what you hope your future family will look like. After you complete your drawing you are to upload your drawing to your flickr account.
For my first daily create I completed the assignment to make Tutor Maggie Black a birthday card for her birthday this past week. I first started my card on PowerPoint and then I went online to find a picture of a black cat since her last name is Black. After that I wrote a little message to her wishing her a fantastic birthday. I hope you end up having a wonderful birthday Tutor Maggie Black.
For my second daily create this week I completed the “Save Noddy” assignment. I first started off with finding out who Noddy was. Then I went online to find the perfect picture of someone who was going to help save Noddy. After finding my picture I photoshopped Noddy in to the photo of the man helping save Noddy by letting him get out of the garbage can. Once I was done with my photoshopping I uploaded my picture to flickr.
For my first daily create this week I took a breakfast selfie picture. I first started off by collecting my three favorite breakfast foods, which included a banana, an apple, and two individual serving size Lucky Charms cereal boxes. Then I made the Lucky Charms cereal boxes the eyes, the apple the nose, and the banana the smile of a smiley face. Then I put all three breakfast foods on the counter into a smiley face and I took a selfie picture with my IPhone 6 plus and then I uploaded my photo to my flickr account online.
For my second daily create this week I had to draw a 15 second create of Batman. I first started off by going online and looking up a picture of what Batman looked like so I would have a reference to go off of before I drew my Batman drawing. Then I found an index and a pencil and began drawing the best Batman I could draw in 15 seconds. After I was done I took a picture of my drawing with my IPhone 6 Plus and I uploaded it to my flickr account online.
For my third and final daily create this week I did the assignment Your Own Words of Wisdom Inspirational Poster. For this assignment I had to make an inspirational poster and then I had to add some words of wisdom on the poster of something I have said before. I first went online and found a picture of a huge closet that had a lot of clothes inside it. Then I uploaded that picture to PowerPoint and add my famous words of wisdom, which was “I have a closet full of clothes, yet I have nothing to wear” which is a saying I say quite often. I’m sure every girl has said this phrase once in her life before.
For this daily create I had to make a marshmallow sculpture, show how I made it step by step, and then upload a video of me doing this on YouTube. To begin my sculpture I started off with a couple of marshmallows, and then I began transferring each marshmallow onto a red plate to create a marshmallow sculpture. As I made my marshmallow sculpture I filmed each step in the process with my iPhone 6 Plus, and then I uploaded my video on the YouTube channel online for others to view this activity. At the conclusion of my video, if you watch it, you will come to realize the object that I created was a cute, little heart shaped sculpture.
For this daily create I had to show different sides of myself in a collage of pictures. The two pictures I choose to depict my two different sides of myself was a picture of me when I did competitive gymnastics at my local gymnastics center when I was on team as a Level 5 and the second picture is a picture of me coaching at the same gymnastics center this past summer as a summer camp gymnastics coach. This collage shows two different sides of myself because I was once I a gymnasts at this gym and now I’m coaching at the same gym .
For this daily create assignment this week I had to make a abstract sketch of my favorite moment this past week. My favorite moment this past week was receiving an A+ on a business test. This was my favorite moment this past week because I studied really hard for this test and to receive an A+ was very rewarding for me and this moment made me really feel that hard work really does pay off in the end especially when it comes to a super hard test during the week.
For my first daily create this week I did the B&A daily create. I had a lot of fun doing this daily create because I was able to go back and find an old picture of myself and see how much I have truly changed over the years. My before picture is a professional picture I had taken of me when I was seven years old and my after picture is a professional picture that was taken of me when I was twenty one years old. I find it amazing how much people can change from year to year and you can definitely tell when you look back at old pictures.
For my second daily create I did the Deep Space 106 daily create assignment. I found this assignment very interesting. At first I was not sure what I should do for this assignment then I started to look online and I found a great picture of space. After I found my space picture I found a DS106 logo online and I went on to PowerPoint and inserted the DS106 logo on top of my space picture. I really think this picture of Deep Space 106 turned out awesome.
For my third and final daily create this week I did the “A unique #heelconcept” assignment. For my unique heel picture I took a picture of my own foot, and I put the back of my heel on top of a Fruit Roll Up box to make it appear that I am wearing heels. I thought this was a unique heel concept because it shows the back of my heel elevated as if I am wearing high heel shoes with the heel being structured out of a Fruit Roll Up box.
I completed a two star audio assignment Can’t Get It Out Of My Head. I did this assignment for my noir character Nicolette Scott. For this assignment I whistle a song that I felt described Nicolette’s life. If you listen to my SoundCloud clip you will figure out that I was whistling the song It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls. I thought this perfectly described her because she is constantly obsessed with men and this song is all about how it is raining men everywhere.
For three stars I did the Sound Of Your Day assignment. I also did this assignment for my noir character Nicolette. For this assignment I recorded sounds that I thought Nicolette would hear in her everyday life. For example when she wakes up in the morning she hears her alarm clock go off and at night she hears a blender mixing drinks because she loves to go out and go drinking on the weekends and occasionally on long tough week nights.
For my last five stars I completed the radio bumper assignment worth two and a half stars. For my bumper I included all six of my group members names that will be featured on DS106 radio. I think that my radio bumper was clear and concise and yet very informative. I can’t wait to incorporate my bumper into my radio show.
For my final assignment I created a radio commercial for our Eagle In The Dark radio show which was worth three stars. For my commercial I advertised a great pair of handcuffs. I thought this would be the perfect thing to sell on our radio show. Then I put in background music which was Black Widow by Iggy Azalea to give it a dark creepy sounds which is going to be perfect for our upcoming radio show Eagles In The Dark.
For my first daily create for the week I drew a picture of David Kernohan for his birthday on Monday. First thing I did was go on to the website picassohead.com to get some inspiration for my drawing. Then, I used a couple of ideas from their website to start creating my “David” drawing. I drew David with a Picasso-like head, and I gave him long, straight hair with a dark, full beard and a unique styled mustache to fit his personality. I think this is the perfect drawing to give to David for his birthday.
This week for my second daily create I did the “Make creative hands assignment”. For my example of creative hands I chose to do a simple heart shape. I chose to do a shape with my hands to show that you can create any shape simply with just your two hands. Not only can you create creative shapes with your hands you can also create unique drawing with your hands using a pencil. The creative things you can do and create with your hands is endless.
For my last daily create post this week I chose the “What’s your super power” assignment. The super power I chose to have was x-ray vision. I would love to have the super power of x-ray vision because then I would be able to see through peoples’ bodies to help them find out why they are sick, or why they are hurting. I think x-ray vision would be a really cool super power, and I know if I had x-ray vision it would be extremely beneficial to those in need.
On Wednesday I decided to do my first daily create for the week. My first thought when I saw this picture was how cute the puppy in this picture was. I thought the perfect caption for this picture would have to be “All I want to do is take a nap!”. I chose this caption because the puppy looks so sleepy in the picture. I think that caption would be an appropriate tag line for this particular picture because like all college students all we want to do is sleep and so do little growing puppies.
On Thursday I did my second daily create for the week. For this daily create I was supposed to create an art car for DS106 with my very own vehicle. This is my 2013 Toyota Rav4 Limited. I decided to put the WordArt writing “DS106 Car” on the front hood in black and red letters to match the exterior of my car. I think this is a great example of a DS106 car.
